I have been very busy girls and boys, as well as fighting my usual yearly pollen/sinus/drippy sickness.  

Very sorry to have been away so long.

But I did gather some grass...

Can you see the purple tones?

I have also made a bunch of new baskets.

Learned the diamond stitch.

A lil purple of couse.

Then I had an idea brewing for quite a while to use Pine cone petals as some sort of decorations.  I had a neighbor help me figure out hot to get the petals off, then I washed them.

Then i trimmed a couple...

Then dried and oiled one...Beautiful!

I am thinking of using these as yokes around/behind a bead/stone.  Still brewing.

Then another basket.

Then another one started with the diamond stitch!

Love this piece of Oak.

Now I am wondering about how to use this piece.

Hmmmm...now back to my needle and thread.
